Administrative Assistant & Accounting Support
We are seeking a candidate for the front office in the role of Administrative Assistant and Accounting Support.
This assistant will provide administrative and accounting support to the Financial Coordinator, managing front office reception, organizational and clerical support tasks. This includes organizing files, preserving filing systems, scheduling appointments, proofreading, maintaining a presence on social media/web, receiving guests, answering phone calls, handling mail, company moral and more, depending on the company's current needs.
In addition, this position will provide basic bookkeeping (including Accounts Payable & Receivable, and payroll support), data entry, proofing for accuracy, maintaining spreadsheets and collaborating with subcontractors, vendors and other external agencies to maintain compliance.
Our ideal candidates would have 3+ years of admin or bookkeeping experience, proficiency in Office 365 (especially MS Excel), be extremely detail oriented, a critical thinker, have strong communication and organization skills, be trustworthy, motivated and a self-starter to work both independently and on a team. Previous experience in the construction industry is helpful, but not required.
